Our Second Video Joke

To start off the two joke reflections I have to say that I liked both our videos and thought that both of them were very well done. Our first video joke was a star wars parody of sorts. Our second video joke was a silent film like the old Charlie Chapman black and whites. For our first video joke we used the two drivers of the car and how the background went zooming by as they were driving for MOVEMENT. In the second video movement was shown with the back and forth short shots of the two characters on the bikes right before the crash. We used the idea of LINES in the first video by showing the parking lot lines and how they pointed right at the main character. In the second video we used lines by the brick lines in the crash and the before crash scene. SUBCONSCIOUSLY in the first joke you think about the actual star wars movie and try to compare the video joke with the movie. In the second video joke you subconsciously think about the olden days with the no spoken dialog, black and white, the bikes, and the music in the background. The AFFINITY between the two videos was the punch line in the joke about the female saying how she didn't want to drink and would wait for the cops.
